Each valve is tested individually to verify proper operation. We watch it open, confirm it maintains appropriate flow, and check that it closes completely. Valves that hesitate or show signs of wear get flagged because problems now become failures later.
Your backflow preventer receives a thorough inspection. This critical component protects your drinking water supply and must function correctly. We test it carefully and check all connections.
Then we run your system zone by zone, walking each one while it operates. We observe every sprinkler head, checking for proper pop-up function, correct spray pattern, and appropriate coverage. We look for heads that are clogged, damaged, misaligned, or performing poorly.
We pay attention to efficiency. Are heads watering driveways instead of lawns? Is coverage overlapping excessively in some areas while leaving gaps in others? Are there signs of runoff or erosion from improper watering? All of these issues affect system performance and water use.
We test and monitor system pressure throughout the process. Littleton's water pressure can vary by neighborhood and time of day, and your system needs to handle those variations properly.
