You finally made it through the May blizzards, and we mean it when we say it’s time to celebrate. Fortunately, northern Colorado has no shortage of summer events with brews, bands, bites and just about everything in between. So let’s give a big hoorah for summer festivals – here are just a few Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland area events to put on your calendar:

  1. Greeley Stampede

June 26-July 7

Island Grove Park, Greeley

Giddyup cowboys and cowgirls! NoCo’s favorite rodeo is coming to town. With concerts from REO Speedwagon, Brett Eldredge, Kip Moore, Cody Johnson and Brothers Osborne, this iconic event is one you won’t want to miss.

  1. Colorado Brewers’ Festival

June 28-29

CSU Canvas Stadium, Fort Collins

30, 100, 50. That’s right – this year’s Colorado Brewers’ Festival is celebrating its 30th year, featuring 100+ beverages from 50+ breweries. Raise a glass and celebrate all the brews that makes Fort Collins great.

3. July 4th Festival at North Lake Park

North Lake Park, Loveland

With a boom, blast a bang, Loveland is celebrating the 4th of July in style. Celebrate with activities, a Battle of the Bands and – of course – a wow-worthy fireworks display. Happy birthday, America!

  1. Cherry Pie Celebration

Peters Park and 5th Street, Loveland

Summer and cherry pie go together like…well, truly, there is no more perfect match. Loveland is serving up this dynamic duo by the slice and with a side of ice cream. Along with delicious pie galore, enjoy live music from Mad Dog Blues and Rusty 44.

  1. Greeley Arts Picnic

July 27-28

Lincoln Park, Downtown Greeley

For the last 40 years, Greeley has delivered culture and art on a whole new level through the Greeley Arts Picnic. With more than 20,000 visitors and 150 artisans, this one-of-a-kind event is 100 percent worth your time.

  1. Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest

Aug. 9-11

Downtown Fort Collins

Free music festivals don’t get much better than Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. This year’s headliners are Tank & the Bangas, Bonnie Raitt and Andrew Bird. Enjoy three days of live music, kids’ activities and more.

  1. Fort Collins Peach Festival

Aug. 17

Civic Center and Washington Parks, Downtown Fort Collins

If you’re peachy keen and livin’ the dream, the Fort Collins Peach Festival is for you! Enjoy everything peach from peach margaritas, peach pies, peach cobbler, peach beer and more at this annual celebration.

  1. Front Range Wine Festival

Aug. 17

Main Park, Windsor

Calling all wine connoisseurs (and everyone who thinks they’re one) – mark your calendar for the Front Range Wine Festival. Featuring 30+ Colorado wineries, plus numerous retail and food vendors, this festival is bound to be a top shelf experience. And let’s be honest – peach margs and wine in one day? Not a bad way to spend the weekend.
