Definition:

To manage crew members and landscape installations

Supervision Received and Exercised:

This position receives direct supervision from the Landscape Installation Manager. The Landscape Installation Foreman exercises supervision over the Landscape Installation Assistant Foreman and all landscape general labor positions

Distinguishing Characteristics:

This is an experienced, full time position paid hourly which requires 2-3 years’ experience.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of irrigation installation

Definition:

All Terrain Landscaping is looking for a landscape designer to join our team! The candidate should be reliable and demonstrate dependability, have a professional demeanor and appearance, and communicate effectively with clients. Qualified individuals would posses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to work with a team.

Essential Functions:

Interpret client’s needs generating superior and workable design solutions. Prepare high quality graphic sales presentations. Work together with the sales team and installation manager while generating new concepts. Assist in layout of designs on construction sites.

Essential Activities:

  • Site survey and analysis

Definition:

Maintenance Foreman is the crew supervisor and middle man between crew and Maintenance Manager

Supervision Received and Exercised:

This position receives direct supervision from the Mow Crew Foreman  and indirect supervision from the Maintenance Operations Manager.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The ability to take direction and perform tasks include but not limited to Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Blowing, Weeding must perform minor repairs to equipment in the field and must give great attention to detail.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • This is an entry level position, Landscape Maintenance experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of basic landscape maintenance equipment 
  • Reliable transpiration to and from work
  • Ability to communicate with Mow Crew Forman and team members in a professional manner.

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

  • Positive and Driven Work ethic
  • Training will be provided. 
  • Follow Direction of Mow Crew Foreman to complete task in timely fashion. 
  • Communicating progress and issues with Mow Crew Foreman 
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all mowing equipment including truck and trailer on daily basis.

Definition:

  1. Supervisory

    • Drive crews to job site 
    • Training and supervision of new employees 
    • Ensure crew is producing work in a professional manner and keep to production standards.

    • Ensure that keys to all equipment and Vehicle get returned to lock box at the end of every shift.

    2. Safety 

    • Reporting any and all safety issue with equipment including truck and trailer
    • Ensure the security of all equipment on job site and the equipment yard 
    • Ensure crew is working and operating equipment safely

Physical/Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. +
  • Flexibility to work in safe but harsh climate (rain, wind, snow, heat)

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or Vocational training and two to three years (2-3) related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid Colorado Driver’s license is required.

Description:

Applicant must be able to assist the Foreman to run a crew of 2-6 members. Achieving goals and completing landscaping installations in a timely manner is a necessary requirement. Applicant must be able to train other crew members while accomplishing daily tasks, communicate well with clients on a daily basis, and keep accurate time records. Experience with pavers, ICPI standards, flagstone (random & cut), retaining walls, timbers, irrigation, grade, ponds and water-features, outdoor fire-pits, lighting, and planting are required skills.

Definition:

Perform the chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties

Supervision Received and Exercised:

This position receives direct supervision from the Landscape Maintenance manager

Distinguishing Characteristics:

This is an experienced, full time seasonal position paid hourly which requires 1-2 years’ experience.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Basic math skills for conversions required to mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products
  • Knowledge of backpack sprayers and spreaders
  • Strong organizational skills for record keeping
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

  1. Basic maintenance of tools and equipment

Definition:

Work independently to diagnose and repair irrigation systems, advanced clock management, low voltage lights, and pond/pump management

Supervision Received and Exercised:

This position will work independently with occasional aid from the irrigation manager and, on occasion, may supervise Irrigation Tech I. The Irrigation Tech II receives direct supervision from the Irrigation Manager he/she is working with and indirect supervision from the owner of ATPS.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

This is an experienced, full time position paid hourly which requires 2-6 years experience.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must be quick to learn and ready for new challenges in the irrigation industry.
  • Knowledge of proper care and maintenance of tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting.
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.


Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

  1. Leads in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of simple and moderately complex irrigation systems, and assists with complex systems as needed.
  2. Tests complete irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers.
  3. Locates, excavates and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
  4. Keeps proper records of work orders received and completed through Hindsite.
  5. Keeps truck inventory to a minimum while being neat and orderly for professional appearance.
  6. Assists with training new Irrigation Tech I employees as needed.
  7. Have extensive knowledge and experience diagnosing low voltage lighting systems
  8. Knowledge of water features and pump diagnostic’s
  9. Have an understanding of irrigation hydraulics
  10. Maintains specified production rates

Description: 

Tasks may include, but are not limited to, operation of equipment (commercial zero-turn riding mowers, brake controlled walk behind mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.), equipment maintenance, trash/debris pickup, and assorted tasks that relate to lawn and landscape maintenance operations including quality control, punctuality, and safety.

Candidates must have strong organizational skills, ability to complete appropriate paperwork, and possess good leadership and communications skills.
 Perform the execution of daily landscape installation work, grounds maintenance and/or mowing assignments, depending on assigned operational area and personal experience and expertise.

Description: 

The Contract Account Manager is responsible for the management of Commercial Maintenance Contracts and provides exemplary customer service to customers in a professional manner. The Contract Account Manager exercises supervision over service and maintenance operations managers and receives direct supervision from Service and Maintenance Division Manager. This is a Mid-Level management position with authority to conduct safety and disciplinary action as necessary throughout their respective department. Must be goal-oriented and operate within the SOPs of the Maintenance and Service Division.

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Minimum of two (3) years of supervisory experience in the landscape industry Managing Landscape Maintenance contracts or Landscape Projects of $1.5 Million portfolio

The Residential Irrigation Account Manager exercises supervision over service employees and receives direct supervision from Division Manager. This is management position with authority to conduct safety and disciplinary action as necessary throughout their respective department. Must be goal-oriented and operate within the SOPs of the Maintenance and Service Division.
