This position receives direct supervision from the Landscape Installation Manager. The Landscape Installation Foreman exercises supervision over the Landscape Installation Assistant Foreman and all landscape general labor positions

Distinguishing Characteristics:

This is an experienced, full time position paid hourly which requires 2-3 years’ experience.

Definition:

The Maintenance Laborer is responsible for performing landscape maintenance tasks and ensuring the upkeep of equipment and properties. This position works under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Foreman and indirect supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

• Direct supervision from the Maintenance Foreman.
• Indirect supervision from the Maintenance Operations Manager.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The ideal candidate must be able to follow directions and perform tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and weeding. They should also be capable of performing minor equipment repairs in the field and demonstrate great attention to detail.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Entry-level position; landscape maintenance experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic landscape maintenance equipment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to communicate professionally with the Mow Crew Foreman and team members.

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

• Maintain a positive and driven work ethic.
• Follow directions from the Mow Crew Foreman to complete tasks efficiently.
• Communicate progress and issues with the Mow Crew Foreman.
• Ensure daily cleanliness of all mowing equipment, trucks, and trailers.

Definition:

Maintenance Foreman is the crew supervisor and middle man between crew and Maintenance Manager

Supervision Received and Exercised:

Maintenance Foreman is to supervise all crew member to insure production standard are meet and is to report to Maintenance Manager

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The ability to take and give direction and perform tasks including but not limited to Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Blowing, Weeding must perform minor repairs to equipment in the field  and must give great attention to detail.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Minimum of two (2) years of Experience 
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory Experience preferred but not required 
• Knowledge of basic landscape maintenance equipment 
• Knowledge of basic maintenance of all equipment associated with landscape maintenance
• Valid Driver’s License w/ good driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work

   • Ensure crew is working and operating equipment safely

Experience with pavers, ICPI standards, flagstone (random & cut), retaining walls, timbers, irrigation, grade, ponds and water-features, outdoor fire-pits, lighting, and planting are required skills.

• Basic math skills for conversions required to mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products

Definition:

Work independently to diagnose and repair irrigation systems, advanced clock management, low voltage lights, and pond/pump management

Supervision Received and Exercised:

This position will work independently with occasional aid from the irrigation manager and, on occasion, may supervise Irrigation Tech I. The Irrigation Tech II receives direct supervision from the Irrigation Manager he/she is working with and indirect supervision from the owner of ATPS.

1. Leads in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of simple and moderately complex irrigation systems, and assists with complex systems as needed.
2. Tests complete irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers.
3. Locates, excavates and repairs or replaces damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
4. Keeps proper records of work orders received and completed through Hindsite.
5. Keeps truck inventory to a minimum while being neat and orderly for professional appearance.
6. Assists with training new Irrigation Tech I employees as needed.
7. Have extensive knowledge and experience diagnosing low voltage lighting systems
8. Knowledge of water features and pump diagnostic’s
